Weathering Steel Sculpture& Signs -Angel of the North

Angel of the North is a contemporary sculpture by Anthony Gormley, located in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, England.

Completed in 1998, it is considered to be the world's largest sculpture of an angel, and is viewed by approximately 33 million people each year due to its proximity to the A1 and A167 highways and the East Coast Main Line. The weather-resistant steel material gives the sculpture its distinctive rusty, oxidized color. At 20 meters (66 ft) tall and with a wingspan of 54 meters (177 ft), it is larger than a Boeing 757.
